The book “Retirement Planning: 10 steps to plan a happy retirement”, is probably one of the most comprehensive retirement guides I have read. It is a beacon of light for seniors, pointing them in the right direction, as they navigate through the complicated conundrum of their sunset years.
The sections in the book are all uniquely done in Dr. Meera Kulkarni’s excellent writing style. She goes into detail of every aspect of retirement with simple and clear articulation, explaining certain key points with anecdotes. She peppers the text with affirmations, making it a delightful read. One leaves the book with clarity of thought and a promise of happiness.
This book is for modern day seniors and the challenges they face. The pointers need to be considered and acted upon by not just all who are one step away from their retirement, but also others, as they will benefit from the guidance on advance planning for their sunset years.
This book is very useful for those who are very close to their retirement or are living in their retirement. Following the 10 step guide is a doable way to sail through this period happily. I recommend this book for all to read.
Dr Meera Kulkarni has written a comprehensive and complete guide to retirement planning. In her book “Retirement planning : Ten steps to plan a happy retirement”, she has given sound advice, based on her research work and laced it with stories to stress her points. The book is developed very logically, step by step, covering all aspects of retired life. I, with nearly 27 years of retirement from my first professional life – the Indian Air Force, can relate to many things in her book. I was lucky to get second profession – School Administration, I am still working in that profession. However, after reading her book I am sure to be benefitted and shall further enjoy my very senior retirement. I wish Meera Tai all the best and would like to see many more books written by her.
