Everything I started to do since this morning was full of hurdles – small irritants to large boulders in my path. It started with the tea just not tasting right, my husband had to leave early for work and I had to pack his lunch for his off – site visit (unsafe halt and food during COVID19).
I had to unsure milk & food were delivered to our two dogs in the factory before reaching my place of work, my daughter was in a bad mood – getting defiant, edgy & touchy.
A program I was looking forward to attend rejected my application due lack of some documents I did not possess at that point of time. The publisher had some issues with manuscript correction for my book, some documents had to be filled in my place of work for which I had to collect data from multiple agencies……All in all, it was drawing out the bad version of me.
When we are disarray and seem to have no grapple on the way events are unfolding in our life/day what do we do? I really do not have solutions. On days like this I still find it difficult to move on. The burden of facing challenges does weigh heavy. I take refuge in a line from the book, “Gone with the wind”- ‘this too shall pass.’ Not that it dilutes the gravity of my frustration, it simply makes it easier for me to live through it.
As I have no other choice but to accept and move with the flow of how things are manifesting in my life/day, I move along. Accepting & facing whatever is dished out- helps me heal the turbulence or rather face the unexpected in my life of a day.
